Wells Lamont 174L Blue Heavy Duty PVC Supported Gauntlet Cuff
The news stories about COVID-19 coronavirus have shown how fruitless it is to fight the disease without preparation. Among those who have not been prepared, the death toll has been catastrophic.
In less than a month, over 50,000 were infected in China and over 1,500 have died. It’s only with careful preparation and stringent containment practices that this disease can be halted. It doesn’t appear China has yet contained the virus, but fortunately at this point it is not spreading as fast outside that country.
Most people are woefully unprepared for deadly viruses. They don’t have the necessary supplies to see them through an outbreak. As we’ve seen in recent weeks with COVID-19, there have been severe disruptions in the market for personal protective equipment, which is putting front line health workers and carers at risk.
COVID-19 is here and it is a problem. U.S. officials seem to be taking dramatic efforts to contain those infected within our borders. Thus far, the DoD has helped Health and Human Services quarantine more than 600 individuals at military facilities across the country, with a total of 11 military facilities located near major airports that are on standby for additional support if needed. Yet, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of potential carriers inside the U.S. that have not yet been identified.
You don’t want to wait until there’s a rush on supplies which is what happens every time a major health crisis looms. Just look at the way the public behaves when a serious hurricane threatens a state. The people in that state make a mad run on grocery stores because they’re not already prepared.
Not being prepared with COVID-19 looming can be a lot more serious. When an outbreak occurs, you don’t want to have to go into a hot zone to have to get supplies to meet your needs.
That’s why you need to stock up now – on basic necessities like food and water as well as hazard prevention materials, too. Gloves are something that you need. In the event there’s an COVID-19 outbreak near you, not only are you going to have to use strong gloves to be able to handle the powerful disinfectant, but you’re going to need gloves to prevent you from coming in contact with contaminated surfaces and people.
Heavy Duty Gauntlet Cuff gloves are on the top of the buy list because it’s easy to use your fingers when wearing them. Some gloves are so poorly made they squish your fingers and it’s harder to grasp objects wearing them.
Fortunately, that’s not the case here. These are roomy enough to be used for a variety of tasks. They’re made to fit large hands, too. They’re the kind of gloves that you want to use for protection from deadly viruses.
These are not like the disposable gloves you can buy. These are tough enough to withstand exposure to strong chemicals and give a solid barrier against contact with bodily fluids.
They have a long lasting strength that’s strong enough for jobs like stripping paint or use with demolition projects, too. They’re made of heavy PVC with a cotton shell and they don’t have seams, which is a good thing. Seams can pull apart and put you at risk.
Wells Lamont gloves are flexible and waterproof – and long enough to offer protect more than just your hands. The wide cuff makes it easy for them to fit over a hazmat coverall.
