    The United States, which leads the world in genetically engineered crop acreage, is also seeing the worst infestation of super weeds; currently, 13 resistant weed species cover more than 11 million acres, mostly those planted with Monsanto’s genetically modified (GM) soy, corn and cotton crops.

    Aside from the creation of super weeds, glyphosate has been linked to health problems including endocrine disruption, DNA damage, developmental and reproductive toxicity, neurotoxicity and cancer.
