Casio Men’s GA100-1A1 Black Resin Quartz Watch with Black Dial

If you’ve checked Amazon recently you’ll see that there is a massive range to choose from. In fact they have over 60,000 men’s watches listed.

So what led me to the GA-100-1A1ER, first up I narrowed down my options, to watches that had plenty of good reviews on Amazon and this one had a score of 4.6 stars which is about as good as it gets. I was looking on paying up to $300 but this is a steal as it is currently at a quarter of that price.
Next up I wanted something tactical – so shock resistant and water proof, the GA-100-1A1ER once again ticked the boxes here.
Next up I narrowed it down to some of the name brands and Casio G-Shock seemed to be the most well reviewed brand out there.
I still had a huge amount of watches to choose from but what did it for me was the Totally Stunning All Black Matt finish that this watch had.
The watch arrives in a nice presentation box, the face of the watch is big and chunky and the black resin watch strap seems like it will last.
The negative reviews about the GA-100-1A1ER mainly seem to be some users had an issue reading the digital display but most found it fine.
The watch as previously mentioned is shockproof and it’s water resistant to 200 meters, it comes with a number of features such as stopwatch, World Time function, countdown timer and a multi-alarm with 5 independent alarms.
This is just a basic G-Shock watch but other models come with more advanced features, this one is just fine for my needs. If you check out any G-Shock review you will see big fans of these watches so I have no worries about it breaking down on me. The extra functions such as a compass, GPS, barometer or altimeter aren’t particularly important but if they are too you then check out the Casio’s that have these functions.
I read through hundreds of reviews for this watch and it gets some great reviews from law enforcement and military personnel, which is all the validation that I need.
It’s not often that I rave about a product looks but this watch just oozes style, one other reviewer described the dial as looking like the speedometer on a Ferrari and this isn’t too far from the truth.
I love the rugged matt black finish and the big anti-skid buttons. I grew up with the Batman movies as a kid and this is my new Bat Watch. All in all I agree with the other 570+ reviewers on Amazon who gave the Casio GA-100-1A1ER a top score of 5 stars, this watch gets my 5 star approval!
