Okay, maybe a zombie attack won’t happen, but who knows. In this world, you never really know what is lurking around the corner.

What I do know is if one happens, you need to make sure you are ready to go. Honestly, you can’t survive a zombie apocalypse without a crossbow!

So, when/if the dead rise from the ground, it is best that you have your weapons and survival gear ready. With all the many different crossbows currently on the market, finding the best one may be a bit on the complicated side. You need something that will go through zombies like no tomorrow –you don’t want something that will give up on you when there’s zombies in front of you!

Shooting Speed
With a total of 170 FPS, those zombies aren’t going to know what hit them.

Lower Rail
The lower rail is something that makes this crossbow stand out from the crowd. On a plus side, there are different accessories you can add to the lower rail. For example, you can add a flashlight, a knife, laser, hand grip, or even a fishing reel if you want.

Upper Rail
Yes, the upper rail just so happens to be another good place to add accessories. Here, you could add a red dot site, scope, or laser.

LED Flashlight
During the night, you don’t want to be caught without a flashlight because that could cause a zombie to sneak up on you without you even realizing it! You’re in luck, because this crossbow has an LED flashlight that can attach to the lower rail. All you have to do is push a simple button and it will turn on.

Attached Foregrip
With the foregrip attachment, you will be able to hold the crossbow steady so that you can have accuracy while shooting.

Black/Green Color
Most of the crossbow pistols don’t really stand out as far as the color goes. However, with this one right here, the black and green color makes it unique.

Draw String
It has an 80 lb draw string. If you know anything about crossbows, you would know that this is plenty of power … all the power you need in order to destroy the walking dead.

The self-cocking mechanism will allow you to cock the crossbow, without requiring strength. Normally, to cock an 80 lb crossbow, it would require a whole lot of strength.

Looking at Amazon, at the time of writing this review, there was a total of 38 reviews giving this product a total of 4.2 out of a possible 5.0 stars. Seeing statements such as “if you’re looking for a tactical crossbow, this is the one you want,” and “This thing is great and lots of fun,” it is obvious that people like it. The only negative statement I can find is someone saying it broke after they used it.

Overall, the PSE Zombie Defense Crossbow is highly recommended. It has everything you need in order to destroy zombies.
